Home review out now

Based on the Adam Rex book The True Meaning of Smekday, Jim Parsons and Rihanna star in Dreamworks latest animation feature Home. When the cowardly Boov are forced to runaway from the enemy, the Gorg, they decide the best planet is Earth. Knowing whats best, they put all the humans in Australia, but one girl who they managed to miss, Tip, is desperate to find her mother. Enlisting the help of out-cast Boov Oh, they have to find Tip's mother and save everyone from the Gorg.

With children's film becoming all the more sophisticated, is Home too simplistic? Do films rely too much on voice talent to sell them? And just how much Rihanna do you need in a film?
