This week its good film/bad film on the DVD round up

This week gives us polar opposites in terms of film quality. In the good corner we have the Coen brothers romantic poverty myth busting film Inside Llewyn Davis. Atmospheric, moody, funny and heartbreaking, the Coen brothers latest explores the integrity of a singer who doesn't want to compromise on the idea of himself as a singer, and who sometimes goes to great lengths to hinder his career. Well worth your time, especially if you are someone who works within the arts.

In the bad corner we have the ludicris I, Frankenstein. Like many films nowadays (Godzilla, Captain America: The Winter Soldier...), the films namesake is just the plot device in order to show case a war between vampires and gargoyles (or as they should be called, grotesques). A messed up film that can't even keep track of its own storyline, this film is a blemish on the good name of Frankenstein's Monster. Listen to our full review in the player below (expect major ranting).
