From Dusk Till Dawn Episode 2 Review

So after the disapointing pilot episode of Robert Rodriguez' TV adaption of the film of the same name, episode 2 gives us insight to how the bank job went down and the rocky relationship between the Gecko brothers, with Richie getting that bit weirder in this episode. We also get the introduction of the Fuller family with Robert Patrick taking over the role played by Harvey Keitel in the original, bringing a tiny bit of acting talent to the series, but to be honest its gonna take a lot more then Robert Patrick to make this series watchable. Madeline Davenport and Brandon Soo Hoo play the Fuller kids. Nothing that special from them but they're not terrible and seem well cast. We also get to see Freddie Gonzalez leave his family in the search of the brothers. Throw in a snake demon guy and thats the whole episode; a lot of sibling rivalry and little entertainment. This whole series just doesn't seem worthy of the name From Dusk Till Dawn (mind you, neither did the second and third film). Still, some promise but I'm not holding my breath. I'm more interested in the point where the whole scenario takes a turn for the worst and they get stuck in the Titty Twister with tons of vampires baying for their blood. With the demon twist it could be interesting and entertaining if done right, but the direction this series is going I have a horrible feeling about it so this weeks episode gets a 3/10. Not any better then the first episode. Richee.
