The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of DVD releases

It's that time of the week again where the shiny new film releases all want to you buy them. Whether your buying a Blu-Ray, DVD or download, we at His and Hers don't want you to waste your money, so we're here to give you the knowledge.

First up, we have the Good of this week's selection, You're Next. When masked killers target a privileged family in a deserted mansion, we all know it isn't going to end well for most of them. Although not the most original concept for a horror movie, this is a decent romp through the genre, made all the better by a kick-ass secret survivalist (played by Sharni Vinson).

Next up is the Bad, and bad is Vin Diesel's passion project Riddick. The third instalment in The Chronicles of Riddick trilogy (really hope we don't have to do this trilogy any time soon on Reel Big Flix), Riddick is a two hour long ego trip that really should of been a five minute segment to another film. Don't say we didn't warn you...

The final film this week is the Ugly, but it's not really ugly, it's the beautiful film by David Lynch about the incredible Joseph Merrick, aka, The Elephant Man. Released in 1980, this film is now out on Blu-Ray. If you haven't seen it, buy it. You will not be disappointed.
