Blood and ice cream and strawberry boot laces

I'm chowing on a Cornetto as I type this, and I wonder what kind of confectionary Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will take inspiration from for their next film.  White mice, jazzies, strawberry bootlaces? Or maybe they'll go for something like coconuts, honey or even bourbon biscuits?

My point is that even though this is the end of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy (or The Blood and Ice Cream trilogy, or The Fence triology and people have come to call them), I doubt that this is the end of the Wright-Pegg-Frost colaboration. If there's one thing you gather watching from Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The Worlds End is that they like working together. Their styles compliment each other. They've worked together before in the genius Spaced, and there's and extremely strong chance that they will work together again. I do agree with Dave Green, who guest features in our podcast for this film, that maybe The Worlds End was a bit rushed. This is the kind of reaction you get when you promise your fans something specific. I hope on their next venture is just a pure film made for their own pleasures about their own geeky obsessions.

Dave Green of The Random Reviewer helped us in this podcast, and provided some contrary opinions to me and Richee, so give it a listen and tell us who you agreed with. Dave also has a blog on The Worlds End, but be careful, it contains spoilers!
