side effects

Side Effects starts off as a critique of the notorius over prescription of antidepressents in America and the consiquences that can have, but then it moves into a Hitchcockian triller as Jude Law realises thathe has been set up. A smart and attractive film, Rooney Mara, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones suprise in Steven Soderburg's last film... (whatever). If I'm honest, the twist started to seem a little rediculous, but it was great to be genuinely suprised by a film.

If you've not listened to the our review of it, check it out on iTunes or on our podbean site. You can also join our Facebook page, where we are currently running our Saturday Blue Ray Bonanza, so for a chance to win one, join the page and leave a comment (so we know who you are). Thanks!
