Top 5 Royal Rumble Weekend 2018 Moments

Well I've invested back into the WWE network for the road to WrestleMania. Starting at the Royal Rumble, I'm also including the NXT Take Over on my list too, so there will be spoilers for multiple matches.

5: Usos vs Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin: two out of three falls match for the Smackdown tag titles - From the Uso's promo on the way down to the ring to the excellent wrestling by both teams, with each teams struggling to get a pin fall, until multiple super kicks by the Uso's got the first pin over Gable. This led to Shelton and Gable going on a tear hitting Jimmy with the doomsday device on the outside of the ring. As they returned to the ring to do the same to Jey, Jey reversed it to roll up Shelton for another pin, making this the first time I've ever seen a team win 2-0 in a two out of three falls match.
4: First Ever 30 Woman Royal Rumble - Lots of ups and downs in this Rumble with some great special entrants but just as many disappointing entrants as well. It was good to see Michelle McCool come back to get some eliminations, and Sasha Banks had a great match coming in at number one and lasting till the final four. I felt sorry for Bayley who really isn't getting any traction at all and went out pretty quickly after coming in at 29. Plus I was happy to see Askua come out as the winner, she is easily the most intriguing and entertaining female wrestler around at the moment.
3: Aleister Black vs Adam Cole: Extreme rules match - This was a very hard hitting match with some great spots, it also told an interesting story at the start with Black saying he is a weapon so he didn't need to use them in this match throwing away multiple weapons before realising that was a bad idea, as Cole was embracing the weapons. The stand out move for me was the Black's fireman carry slam or "AA" onto the backrest of two steel chairs. Black got the win with the black mass kick after Sanity took out the rest of the Undisputed Era, who came down to help Cole to no avail.

2: 30 Man Royal Rumble - I was worried about this one, thinking it was going to be another Roman Reigns show after he dropped the IC title, but he didn't win so I was happy with that alone. Throw in some great moments like Heath Slater eliminating Sheamus in a shocking moment, Seth Rollins elimination of Cesaro, and the traditional Kofi Kingston spot. Also, the crowd chanting you both suck at Cena and Reigns brought a smile to my face. Dolph Ziggler got me hyped coming in at number 30 to ultimately get thrown out shortly after, sadly. Then Nakamura over came Reigns to win the Rumble, which shocked me, and was nice for the first time in four years to be surprised at the Rumble result.
1: Andrade "Cien" Almas vs Johnny Garganno for the NXT championship - If you haven't watched Take Over yet, do it. This match was outstanding. The back and fourth action was great with both men hitting every move in their arsenal while being unable to put the other man away. Selina Vega started to get involved in the match hitting a hurricanrana on Johnny, flipping him into the steel ring steps. When she tried to get involved again Candice La Ray jumped the barricade to beat down and chase of Selina. Both men ended up on the apron, seeing Almas hit his double knee strike against the ring post knocking Johnny senseless. Almas then dragged Jonny to the top rope to hit the hammerlock DDT for the three count in a shocking match which could have gone either way.

That's my top five moment from the weekend. What do you guys think? Did I miss out one of your top moments? Let me know in the comments below. Richee
