11 Little Roosters - Richee Review

So it's been a couple of years since the extremely enjoyable Ten Little Roosters. The sequel is about a international assassin agency called the Rooster Core. Agent Moose is tricked into killing fellow agent Jack the Red and is disavowed from the squad. With a possible mole in the organization, Agent Moose has to try and figure out who the mole is and get her place back in the organization.

The series is 8 episodes long and is highly entertaining. Most of the assassins are really interesting with there over stereotypical nationalities. The Germans are my favourite, as I'm a huge Funhaus fan. Aaron Marquis is a stand out as Marquee Marquis, a reverse Leon, as he doesn't kill men and only assassinates women and children. Blaine Gibson also had some great parts as a C.I.A. agent who is super shallow and wants every one to want him, but they don't.
The story is very well told and, having watched it back a second time, you notice all the subtle nods through out each episode at who the mole actually is. It links certain points to the Ten Little Roosters series, but I'm not sure if they're needed, as both series have such different tones. Ryan makes a return as himself. Having survived the massacre, he now works as an undercover agent routing out moles. There is also another returning character, but I don't want to ruin the reveal as it has a stand out part of the show.

I enjoyed this series. It's another well made series by one of the best YouTube channels, if not the best. Rooster Teeth is one of those channels that keeps on evolving and getting better because of it. I highly recommend this series and would give it a solid 8/10, mainly for Funhaus as the Germans, plus the fact it's so well written. Richee
