HALLOWEEN HORROR: Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein - podcast review out now

The round up our Universal Monster special podcasts for our Halloween Horror month, we look back at two of the best films in the series, 1931's Frankenstein and 1935's Bride of Frankenstein, both directed by James Whale. Legendary movies, Frankenstein made a star of Boris Karloff, and cemented Mary Shelley's influential story into the consciousness of generations to come. We discuss how Whale kept the integrity of Shelley's novel while still inventing new tropes for the genre, and we wonder what the Universal Monster Cinematic Universe could give us with the news that Javier Bardem will be playing the monster, and Angelina Jolie his bride.

We mention Victor Frankenstein in this podcast, and you can check out our review of it here.
