DVD ROUNDUP: GIVE HIM THE FUCKING SAUSAGE EDITION


The Kray Twins are maybe one of the UK's most infamous gangsters, reknowned for their violent crimes and love of the limelight. Legend makes a good point of showing both sides of their lives, with an excellent performance from Tom Hardy as both Reggie and Ronnie Kray. While nowhere near perfect, Hardy carries this film, especially through some impressively film fight scene's. Check out our podcast review in the player below.























Tomorrow we have our review of The Big Short out, all about the people who profited off of the 2008 credit meltdown in America. 99 Homes gives a different perspective of the same situation, featuring a man who suffered at the tail end of the crisis, as he tries to rebuild his life working for the same man who foreclosed his home.

Tangerines is nominated for best foreign language film at this years Academy Awards, and looks at the 1992 conflict between Georgia and Abkhazian separatists. When two wounded soldiers from wither side of the conflict are taken into the care of some tangerine farmers, and ask themselves if the conflict is worth it at all.
