The Games Reviews: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and The Imitation Game

This week we have two episodes for you to enjoy, The Games Podcasts, as we review The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 and The Imitation Game.

First up is the latest installment in The Hunger Games series. Splitting the third book into two films has proved controversial with some, but can this film justify this move? With Katniss taking on the role of the Mockingjay and Peeta wasting away on Tracker Jacker venom, this film is a much more darker and dingier vision, with more than enough hints of Orwell's 1984. You can listen to our review in the player below.

Next up is the biography of famed mathematician Alan Turing, The Imitation Game. With Benedict Cumberbatch as the World War Two enigma code cracker, this film is at turns melodramatic and wildly innacurate. But just how much can a great cast carry a film. Listen to our review in the player below, and don't forget that you can listen to both these episode and subscribe to us on itunes too.
