It's Horror Month!

It's that time of the year again. The days are getting shorter, the nights darker, and everybody has an insatiable appetite to scare themselves with a good old horror flick. With the best holiday of the year coming up, Halloween (of, course), Richee and Layla love to indulge themselves in some good old cinematic scaremongering. So, during the month of October, we will be celebrating our love of all things scary, and hope to have you join in with us.

In the meantime, enjoy some of our previous adventures into horror:

Our lamenting of Fede Alverez's Evil Dead.

Layla's list of her favourite "psychic violations".

Richee reminices of scary sci-fi.

Why there should be a grindhouse superhero film.

Did you know that Frankenstein was based on a book.

How to make a violent film without making it too violent.

You can also listen to our Texas Chainsaw Massacre special in the player below (as well as on Podbean and iTunes), where we not only review the original film and the 2013 3D sequel, but we also discuss the origins of the Leatherface character, Ed Gein.

Let us know which are your favourite horror films (and maybe least favourite!), and what makes them so great.
