Starred Up review out now

Our latest podcast review is now up for the British prison drama Starred Up. With performances from Jack O'Connell, Rupert Friend and John Mendelsohn, the film focuses on O'Connell's character Eric, an angry young man being "starred up" from a young offenders to an adult prison where he confronts the dad he never really had. Written by former prison psychologist Jonathan Asser, this films greatest scenes are where Eric and his fellow inmates talk out their anger, which are especially poignant when contrated against the violence.
