DVD's out this week

Missed the film in the cinema? Not a big deal, my friends, as plenty of great films are out on DVD and Blu-Ray this week for you to enjoy. Have a listen to our reviews to see which one is for you.

The Great Gatsby, based of the brilliant novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, tells the tale of Gatsby, played excellently by the always excellent Leonardo DiCaprio, and his desire for Daisy Buchanan, played by Carey Mulligan. Directed by Baz Lurhman, of Romeo + Juliet and Moulin Rouge fame, and with music direction from Jay-Z, expect a glitzy, over the top, and somewhat contemporary interpretation of the Fitzgerald classic.

You like big Japanese mosters, right? And what about massive robots? What about if big Japanese monsters and massive robots fought each other and ripped each other to shreads? But you'd love that, wouldn't you? Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim is just a bright, crazy tale filmed inside the imagination of a five year old boy. Turn your brain off and enjoy.

World War Z, or, as we like to call it, The-Brad-Pitt-Zombie-Film, has come out recently too. Its basically a film where Brad Pitt and zombies happen to be in the same film.

So there's a little taster of some of the big films out there for you. Let us know which of these you want to buy, or which you'd rather ignore.

We've also a new Facebook page, His and Hers Views and Reviews, and if we get 200 likes by the 18th of November, we will give away a free Blu-Ray of Pacific Rim, so get liking and sharing for your chance to win.

Look out to our Gravity review tomorrow also!
